Cast Iron Pentacle Cauldron

A small sized (7cm) cast iron cauldron with pentacle design. Perfect addition to an altar, to burn loose incense in, or make a simmering pot!

The Pentacle design is an ancient symbol that has been found to be used as far back at 3500-3000BC in Mesopotamia (in Ancient Greece). It is a symbol that is observed widely throughout many ancient and current cultures and religions. Each point of the star represents the four elements (Earth, Fire, Water and Air) and the Spirit. These elements are encircled within the pentacle, which represents the universe encircling these elements and connecting them together.  In many ancient and current cultures the pentacle is a symbol of protection and was often used to ward off negative spirits.
