Samhain (pronounced ‘sow-en’) is a Sabbat of the Celtic wheel of the year and marks the end of summer and the start of winter. It is celebrate on October 31st and is a time where the veil between life and death is the thinnest as all leaves on the trees and plants begin to fall. It is a time to honour those who have passed.
